Armepoxy System

Description:

Armepoxy is a two pack high build Epoxy coating.  It is modified with a special flow promoter to ease application and does not contain solvents.  This low toxicity, no fumes, makes Armepoxy an ideal system to coat inside floors in factories, freezing works and in confined places.

Features:

Low toxic, no solvent fumes, high chemcial resistance, abrasion resistant, hard durable finish.  It has excellent adhesion to concrete, steel, timber etc., and will cure around 5°C.

Uses:

Armepoxy protective coatings are used extensively in multi-colour seamless flake flooring systems, multi-chip coatings, swimming pools, steelwork, food processing areas, meat and dairy industries, garages, workshops, chemical and oil industry factories, and all types of industrial and commercial concrete floors.

It is particularly recommended where high performance, hard durable chemical resistant coating is required.

Part 'A'	3 litres in a 4-litre tin
Part 'B'	1 litre in a 1 litre tin

Caution:

Avoid contact with skin.  Remove from skin immediately (using soap and water).  Use suitable respirator.  Water protective clothing, including face protection.  Provide adequate ventilation in confined areas.  Keep away from children.

Mix Ratios:

Volume 'A' and 'B - 3 to 1

Important to mix accurately, 3 parts 'A' to 1 part 'B' Hardener by volume.

Mixing Instructions:

Stir each part thoroughly.  then add 'A' and 'B' together and stir until mix is homogenous.  Leave to stand for 3 minutes.  Then stir and use.

Small Quantity:

Mix to 1 litre "A' resin, add 340 mls of Hardener 'B'

Thinning:

Do not thin topcoats as colour floatation may occur.

Pot Life:

at 25°c, 50% relative humidity - 1 hour

Only mix sufficient Armepoxy that can be used within 30 minutes - as large mixed quantities will generate exothermic reaction and subsequent loss of material.

Number of Coats:

2 coats unthinned - 3 coats on porous rough surfaces

Coverage:

Smooth Surfaces	6 m² per litre per coat	Minimum of 2 coats required = 3m² per litre coverage
Rough Surfaces	4 m² per litre per coat	Minimum of 2 coats required = 2m² per litre coverage

Clean up:

Armepoxy Solvent, Special Finishes' All Purpose thinners, UC500 Reducer.
