Graffiticoat is a 2 pack exterior / interior pigmented or clear
urethane that has excellent non-yellowing exterior durability, and
is designed to facilitate the removal of graffiti from its surface
without effecting the substrate.
Graffiticoat's 100% crosslinking characteristic makes it
extremely chemical resistant.
Graffiticoat contains sophisticated silicone additives that
prevent permanent adhesion of subsequent grafiti. With the
assistance of a chemical cleaning solution, this graffiti can be
removed without effecting the protected substrate.
Graffiticoat is particularly suited to overcoat residential and
commercial buildings constructed of pre-cast concrete, concrete,
bricks, fibre cement sheeting, metal claddings, cement plaster
including concrete blocks. etc. DO NOT use on cedar or
soft timbers.
Concrete or block fibre cement (hardiflex / harditex) buildings,
etc.
Apply 2 coats of Aquepoxy in colour required, then apply 2 coats
of Graffiticoat.
Alternatively, apply 1 coat Strongwall Acrylic Sealer, 2 coats
of Sprayflex Hi Build. allow to dry. then aply 2 coats
of Graffiticoat.
These systems will provide optimum weatherproofing and
flexibility on concrete, fibrolite and block buildings.
Trials must be undertaken to ensure compatibility. (Refer
to Manufacturers for technical assistance on unfamiliar
substrates.)
On all bricks or clay tiles a sealer must be used (ensure the
surface is completely dry.)
Apply 1 coat of 2 pack Graffitiseal (allow 4 hours to dry)
Apply 2 coats of Graffiticoat (allow 8 hours between coats)
Refer to Special Finishes (NZ) Ltd for application
specifications on unfamiliar substrates and correct sealers /
graffiti cleaner removers etc.
Use with adequate ventilation and correct breathing masks should
be used.
1 coat of Chemsolve No.1 should be applied to affected
areas. Agitate with a nylon brush and wash off with water or
waterblast immediately. Repeat process if neccessary.
On other difficult to remove graffiti, use Chemsolve No.6.
With nylon brush agitate and remove with water immediately.
