Uses:

Stonebond silicate paint can be used on all types of concrete substrates, old or new rendered concrete buildings on brickwork, limestone etc, provides extreme durability on historical buildings, castles, churches, museums, schools, luxury apartments, hotels, shopping malls, offices, homes etc.

Application:

By roller, brush or airless spray.

Refer to application specifications before commencing application.

Ensure all concrete has cured for 27 days and is completely free from dirt, paint, grease, grime, mould, algae, efflorescence etc, (refer to Stonebond treatment data on preparation).

Repairs to concrete structures should always use only cement mineral fillers.

Apply one coat of Stonebond, allow 16 hours to cure, then apply second coat.  Use as supplied - do not dilute stonebond.

Coverage:

Stonebond silicate paint should be applied with a minimum of two coats @ 400-500 grams per m²

Application Temperature:

Do not apply Stonebond @ 5°C or below.  Keep out of direct sun when working with Stonebond.  Ensure 5 hours rain free dry time.

Clean up:

Water.

Warning:

Any aluminium joinery, glass, ceramic tiles, etc, may become etched with Stonebond (wash immediately).  Ensure all areas are masked and covered with vinyl tape and polythene clear film.  All splashes and overspray must be washed off immediately with clean water.

Health & Safety:

Stonebond silicate paints are relativity non-toxic - protect eyes, skin, etc, wash immediately with copious amounts of clean water.  Keep away from children.  Observe occupational safety and health instructions (OSH).
