Sealkote WS

Description:

Sealkote 60WS is a clear chemical solution specifically designed to protect and weatherproof brick and concrete buildings.  It provides a completely natural brick or concrete appearance, due to Sealkote 60WS ability to deeply penetrate the substrate.  It provides a completely non-visible layer on the surface, this is superior to other surface building glaze systems available.

Performance:

Sealkote 60WS penetrates into bricks and concrete mortar, allowed to dry it then reacts with CO2 from the atmosphere.  Once activated it then prevents water from penetrating the substrate since neither pores or capillaries are blocked the substrate retains an exceptional high degree of water vapour permeability.

Sealkote 60WS has a unique surface wetting surfactant type so deeper penetration is achieved and below the brick and concrete  surface still remains active, preventing water penetrating the substrate even after years of actual surface erosion.

Uses:

Sealkote 60WS is used to waterproof brick buildings, concrete structures / precast mineral plasters, cement fibreboard / aerated concretes, natural stone and mineral paints.

Finish:

Clear natural (non gloss finish).

Application:

Apply by roller a minimum of two coats over dry surfaces completely flooding the substrate at approximately 3 -5 m² per litre coverage per coat dependant on porosity of surface, spraying several coats wet on wet completely flooding substrate.  Apply minimum of two coats as above for best performances.

Warning / Caution:

Before application cover or mask-off all glass / windows and other non absorbent surfaces properly as Sealkote 60WS cures rapidly and will then be extremely difficult or even impossible to remove especially in hot conditions, so wipe of splahses or over spray immediately.  Use a cloth and solvent for final wash (White Spirits or Turpentine for cleaning).

Warning:

Keep containers sealed as Sealkote 60WS reacts with moisture / avoid returning used product to can.

Clean Up:

Use White Spirits or Mineral Turpentine to clean up rollers and spray equipment.
