Mediterranean Limewash

Mediterranean Limewash applied to achieve old fashioned designer white wash for that antique, faded appearance - in white, individual or separate basecolours, to simulate old bleached Mediterranean or Roman architectural designs including marblising effects. All British Standards colours available including Mexican Terracotta. Uniquely formulated for long term durability.

TYPICAL USES :
Plastered walls, concrete, houses, Strongwall Insulated Cladding Systems, Styroform Building Blocks, Stucco, block, commercial buildings, shops, shopping malls, feature walls, columns, restaurants, and any place that requires special effects or features.

PERFORMANCE :
Mediterranean Limewash has excellent durability on exterior surfaces. Once the erosion process starts, natural uneven colouring will take place. This curing and changing process continues over 12 months - colour changes will take place over the life span of the coating.

PREPARATION :
Existing Stucco, Strongwall or concrete should be Chemocide treated, then waterblasted clean, then apply 2 coats of Strongwall
Sealer in desired colour - then 2 coats of Mediterranean Limewash.

APPLICATION :
Mediterranean Limewash - stir thoroughly before and during use.
New and existing Strongwall, Stucco, concrete.
Apply 2 coats of Strongwall Sealer in desired colour. Apply 1 coat of Mediterranean
Limewash in slightly darker shade. Allow 6 hours to dry.
Apply second coat in white or lighter tone colours.
Use long-haired brush - maintain a good 'wet edge'. Brush using alternating directions, achieving slightly textured effect. DO NOT lay off evenly.

INTERIOR : Apply 1 coat of Colourtrend Urethane Sealer, then 2 coats of Mediterranean Limewash.

COVERAGE :
Strongwall Sealer - 6-8m2 per litre, depending on substrate porosity per coat
Mediterranean Limewash - 8-10m2 per litre per coat

PHYSICAL PROPERTIES :
Mediterranean Limewash is a unique lime based coating containing marble dust special oxides, binders and mould inhibitors.

THINNING : Use as supplied, or thin 10-20% in hot conditions
CLEAN UP : Using water
PACKAGING : 1, 4, 10 Litre pails
