Flexicure RT100

Flexicure RT 100 Thermoplastic Copolymer is high build single pack fibreglass reinforced curing membrane designed specifically for roof coatings, with exceptional exterior durability, blended with sophisticated Ultra-violet light protective properties - incorporation of biocides, mould, mildew, algae inhibitors, giving extensive long term performance.

This protective coating is manufactured from a Thermoplastic Copolymer with an adhesion promoter for improved adhesion to concrete, fibre cement, plywood, Colourbond XRW, Coloursteel, Long Run Iron and all other Polyester Baked Enamel roofs or panels - that require outstanding durable finishes for corrosion resistance and maintenance paints for long term protection of roofs, galvanised iron, concrete, Colourbond XRW, Coloursteel, steel, metal - including plywood roof systems.

Features:

Etremely flexible with maximum strength and durability.  Displys excellent early blanch, water, oil, grease resistant characteristics - superior adhesion, it is highly resistant to atmospheric exposure, infra-red and ultra-violet radiation, and will actively inhibit corrosion, mould algae, with exceptional toughness and resilience.  Designed to coat rusty surfaces in conjunction with Metaltech Primer without expensive prepartion.

Uses:

Fleicure RT100 is a unique concept in waterproofing all types of roof systems, consisting of a fibreglass reinforced curable membrane providing maximum strength and durability and can be applied over virtually all fully supported substrates for waterproofing plywood, fibre cement sheets, all concrete surfaces - along with protecting and coating old existing roofs, galvanised iron, long run iron, super six roofs, etc.

On decks, patiors, roof amenity areas, general roof waterproofing, roof carparks.  In industries, large commercial complees, factories, oil refineries, breweries, hotels, apartments, freezing works, concrete buildings, carparks, bungalows, shopping complees, schools, including boats and marine use.

For protection of all types of roof systems, Colourbond XRW, Coloursteel, iron, galvanised iron roofs, bridges, structural steel, containers, concrete.  On steel, use in conjunctin with Metaltech Primer.

Application:	Refer to Application Specification 5 Coat System by airless spray, pressure spray, roller, brush, etc.
Primer/Sealer:	Apply 1 coat of Multiseal @ 10 m2 per litre coverage Allow 4 hours to dry
Basecoat:	Apply 1 coat of Flexicure RT100 @ 2m2 per litre coverage, Immediately embed 300 gsm fibreglass matting. Roll in and apply Flexicure RT 100 over fibreglass @ 3m2 per litre.
Coverage:	Allow 8 hours to dry.
Finish Coat:	Apply final coat of Flexicure RT100 @ 2m2 per litre coverage. Confirm with Special Finishes Ltd. regarding the appropriatesealer to suit substrate. For roofs, carparks and heavy traffic areas, a double layer of fibreglass as specified.

Colour:

All BS 2600 / 5252 colours available.  Light tones are recommended for longer performance along with heat deflection.

Appearance:

Low sheen / slight texture / with anti-skid properties available on request.

Toxicity:

Non-hazardous

Dry films may be eposed to foodstuffs and frinking water.

Film Build:

Dry film build of 80-250 microns can be achieved using airless spray with 1 coat.  Refer to Special Finishes Ltd.  Application Specification sheets before use.
