Gapfle is a high quality acrylic filler suitable for general
purpose, interior and eterior applications where slight to moderate
movement is anticipated. Gapfle has been specifically
formulated to stop and flush Triboard joints and Custom wood.
Gapfle bonds to damp or dry surfaces with ecellent
adhesion. when cured, gapflex has good sanding
properties.
Gapfle is used to fill and flush Triboard, Custom wood,
Gib-board, Gib-rock, plaster, wood, and concrete substrates.
All areas that require flushing or filling before or after
painting.
Joints to have 2, down to 3mm rebate for best results. We
recommend that the Triboard, Custom wood be pre-sealed with
Triseal, then apply 1 coat of Gapflex immediately embedding 75 mm
Polypropylene Flexible Tape. Complete all joints - allow to
dry. Then apply second coat to completely flush level with
Triboard. If preferred, slightly proud joints may be
beneficial - then when cured sand back to smooth flush
surface. Some joints may require 3 coats. Wet trowel to
assist final smoothing. Inspect all joints with straight edge
before painting.
