Rust Off

Features & Benefits:

• Effective in removing surface rust and other insoluble deposits from metal surfaces.
• Easy to use - brush or spray on, or for best results, immerse articles in a bath of Rust-Off.
• forms a phosphate layer to give a strong bond when repainting and inhibits further rust formation.
• Surfactant system will degrease light oil deposits.

How to Use:

• Use hot water for maximum efficiency.
• Dilute 1:5 (20%) with water for heavy deposits.
• Dilute Rust-Off 1:10 (10%) with water for lighter deposits and tank immersion.
• Allow to react for a minimum of 15 minutes.
• Removal should be assisted with a wire brush on heavy deposits.
• Rinse well with clean water and allow to dry.
• Final rinsing with a dilute oxidising agent can inhibit rust bush on drying (recommend 0.1% potassium dichromate)

Safety Device:

Rust-Off is a weakly acidic product.  Avoid skin contact.  Wash splashed with soapy water.  In case of eye contact, wash eye with clean water for at least 15 minutes and as a precaution seek medical attention. 

Rust-Off must not be swallowed.
