Application Specifications on Triboard Customwood Timber
Triseal has been specifically formulated to seal Triboard and
Customwood against moisture, weather, mould, fungi, mildew; with
excellent hold out and results especially in tropical countries -
and is a suitable sealer for all types of top coat finishes,
Acrylic Paints, Colourtrend Elastomeric Membranes, Epoxy, Lacquers,
Urethanes, and Enamels.
Triseal is suitable for use on Triboard Customwood, Particle
Board, Pine, MDF Board, and most types of wood finishes.
Triseal is NOT suitable for any Cedar product, and should not be
applied to any Cedar used exterior.
It's imperative to seal both sides total area of customwood
sheets, when used as interior wall lining. A failure to seal
customwood will result in extreme distortion of customwood sheets
due to moisture absorption. On interior before painting with
acrylic water-based paints, apply one coat of Multiseal (Urethane
pigmented sealer undercoat), then apply two coats of acrylic.
Normally 1 coat will be sufficient to protect against moisture,
mould, fungi, mildew and for storage exterior, but 2 coats would be
recommended for complete weatherproofing for exterior purposes with
additional top coat as required.
Can be incorporated during the manufacturing process and is a
safe, odourless, effective anti-insect coating.
Bug Free kills on contact - termites, cockroaches, spiders,
flies, mosquitos, ants, fleas and other flying or crawling
insects. It has been tested and proven effective on more than
130 various insect varieties.
Stir well before use. Triseal can be diluted up to 25% to
suit application and methods with Triseal Solvent or A.P. Lacquer
Thinners.
Apply 1 or 2 coats as required using spray, airless spray,
brush, roller, etc.
Triseal will dry in 5 - 10 minutes and can be overcoated within
30 minutes or 4 hours if top coating with waterbased Acrylic
Paints.
Triseal can be stacked after 30 minutes cure time and can be
used on houses, factories, doors, furniture, shop fittings,
commercial or industrial building complexes.
Use Triseal Solvent or A.P. Lacquer Thinners for skin, hands,
etc. Wash with AP Thinners or Brush Wash, then immediately
with Hand Cleaner then soap and warm water.
In case of eye contact, flush with plenty of water - get medical
attention if irritation persists. For skin, wash thoroughly
with Hand Cleaner, then soap and water.
Handling Precautions:
Do not touch foodstuffs while handling or using Triseal Bug
Free.
Keep away from Foods - Do not apply Bug Free to Surfaces that
are used for direct contact with foodstuffs. Danger - Highly
