Zincure exhibits excellent anti-corrosion properties combines with impact and abrasion resistance.

Outstanding performance under severe weathering and salt water environments, excellent primer for industrial equipment, automotive, steel, etc.

Typical Uses:

petrochemical plants, power plants, turbines, hydro electric installations, oil refineries, machinery, automotive primers, steel substrates, bridges, beams, building complexes, and industrial, etc.

Theoretical Coverage

Application of 2 coats minimum

3.75m2 per litre @ 100 microns

5 m2 per litre @ 75 microns

Recommended Dry Film  

75 microns per coat as a Primer

100microns per coat as a finish

Dry Time

Touch - 1 Hour

Hard - 8 Hours

Overcoat Minimum 16 hours
Mixing Ratios By volume, 4 parts 'A; - 1 Part 'B'

Surface Preparation:

Steel - Degrease according to SSPC-SP1 solvent cleaning.  remove all weld splatter, radius sharp edges, and grind weld seams.  Blast clean to Swedish Standard 05 59 00 minimum Sa 2 1/2.  the blast profile should not exceed 50 microns.


Brush, roller, conventional or airless spray 17-26mm fluid tip, electrostatic spray

Thinning / Clean Up:

Thin with UC500 Reducer.  Clean up with UC500 Reducer.  Electrostatic Solven blends available on request.

Health & Safety:

Wear protective overalls, goggles and gloves.  maintain adequate ventilation at all times.  when spraying, use approved respirator with organic vapour cartridge.


Eye Contact: Fluch with copious amounts of water, or dilute boric acid solution and seek immediate mediacl aid
Skin Contact Wash thoroughly with soap and warm water.

Keep away from sparks and open flame.  Smoking should not be permitted in working areas.
