Concrete's Leaking |
A chemical approach to solving permanent sealing and
waterproofing problems |
Chemcure 200, a clear chemical solution applied to concrete in
accordance with specifications. This sealant penetrates 20mm deep
internally into concrete and undergoes two chemical
combinations:
- Providing a hardened zone of low permeability
- The ingress of water and chloride ions from salt environments
is inhibited
Chemcure 200 precipitates two separate chemical reactions; on
entering concrete it reacts with lime increasing its
hardness. Further reaction with the lime in concrete creates
a polymerised water-displacing thixotrope that pore-blocks the
microscopic voids present in concrete, permanently preventing the
ingress of water. This internal approach continues by
bridging and sealing hairline cracks up to 3mm and prevents further
cracking.
- Waterproofing concrete structures
- High traffic areas, factory floors, airport, airways
- Concrete and block buildings, bricks
- Dust free and hardening of concrete floors
- New concrete roofs.
- Bridges, carparks
- Old existing roofs, tile roofs water reservoirs, dams, tanks,
drinking water vessels
- Preservation of old existing concrete buildings
(Brick buildings and existing old swimming pools, may require 1
coat Chemseal 400 before and treatment is used.)
