Colourtrend Elastomeric Flexible Membrane has been developed
from outstanding technology. This unique coating provides
permanent elastomeric flexible properties that covers any surface
with a complete elastic durable protective film.
Excellent water resistance, superior adhesion. It is
highly resistant to atmospheric exposure, infra-red and
ultra-violet radiation, and will actively inhibit corrosion.
With exceptional toughness and resilience designed to coat rusty
surfaces without expensive preparation.
Colourtrend Elastomeric Flexible Membrane has been developed for
the long term protection and weatherproofing of concrete buildings,
hotels, shopping complexes, schools, hospitals, bungalows,
commercial buildings, galvanised iron roofs, steel, iron, bridges,
waterproofing concrete, block buildings, storage tanks, freezing
works, oil refineries, breweries, etc.
Super Six fibre cement roofs, plywood roofs, galvanised iron,
concrete tiles, concrete, asbestos, Decromastic Chip roofs, and any
surface that requires a roof mastic. It is also used in
hospitals, schools, factories, freezing works, and all types of
food industries - giving excellent protection against mould
fungus. It is ideal for hygine areas with M.A.F
Approval. On plywood roof systems the use of embedded mesh
provides a total roofing system.
Flooring grade is produced as a non-slip durable floor coating
for steps, tennis courts, flooring patios, decks, boats, ships,
swimming pool surrounds, workshops, etc.
Colourtrend Firetech will coat steel, timber and drastically
reduce ignitability and the spread of flame. Refer to
Firetech Specification Sheet.

Colourtrend Elastomeric Flexible Membrane will dry and can be
recoated after 2 hours at 20°C - in cold or humid conditions, allow
8 hours before application of second coat. |

2-4m² per litre per coat minimum two coats for concrete walls/
roofs. (1 litre of Colourtrend Elastomeric Flexible Membrane
per 1 m² achieved with 2 coats provides a dry film build of 500 -
600 microns.) |
Always apply 2-3 coats for concrete walls / minimum DFT 300 -
500 microns. Plywood roof systems 4-5 coats recommended with
fibre mesh embedded minimum DFT 1200 microns - 1500 microns.
all decks minimum 1500 microns DFT.
Use correct sealers on concrete and fibrolite. Multiseal
on all timber including plywood, primers to be used on galvanised
iron, steel and bridge structures, etc. always refer to
preparation specification sheets before any application.
New and old concrete must be waterblasted and then Acid
Etched. Apply appropriate Sealer. Rust to be
wire-brushed, then converted with Metaltech Rust Converter, then
apply 1 coat of Metaltech Primer. Galvanised iron to be
cleaned with Chemocide Etch to remove oxidation, then primed with
Tetracure P10.
4 Litre, 10 Litre, 20 Litre plastic pails.
