Quickcoat

QUICKCOAT is a two pack cross linking Polyol that can be applied in relatively high film builds and at high solids. Provides a hard wearing, abrasion resistant surface with exceptional gloss, Available in Clear Gloss & In all AS2700 or BS Colours

USES:
Suitable for Industrial & Commercial coatings, Used on:- Timber Clear finishes, Concrete flooring, for Heavy Traffic High Solids Road & Line Marking, Reception Counter tops, Furniture, industrial machinery, etc Not suitable for areas requiring high chemical resistance

APPLICATION:
Mix full units of Part A and Part B as supplied.
Otherwise mix accurately in the correct weight ratio as shown on the label.
Apply two initial build coats with minimal thinning, typically 10 - 20% QC Thinner at approx 5m2 per litre.
Apply by pressure pot spray or airless spray. Brush Roller Speed Brush - Allow 8 hours minimum between coats. Sand any imperfections before application of final coat.
For the final coat thin 50% with QC Thinner and apply one coat at approx 10 m2 per litre

Touch Dry                                              approx 4 hours in normal conditions.
Full dry                                                  24 hours
Recoat                                                   8 hours minimum in good drying conditions. Recoat with the second coat can occur while the first coat is still soft however the second coat needs to be firm enough to sand prior to the final coat.

Preparation:
Prime absorbent surfaces such as timber, concrete, fibrecement etc Use OptiSeal “A”&“B” or ULTRAPRIME two pack epoxy primer thinned up to 25% with ARMEPOXY SOLVENT. Refer to technical data sheet for application instructions. For metal surfaces prime first with TETRACURE P10 Made to strict quality control standards and tested to Australian/New Zealand Standard AS1580.
