Ultracure

UltraCure M.C. Clear Gloss, is a moisture cured (aliphatic non-yellowing) Urethane, Used on interior or exteriors as a clear coatings, Contains UV protective additives, designed to overcoat all types of Concrete, FloorCoat, Liquid Granite, wood finishes, including particle board, cork tiles, Timber floors, etc. Clear films are tough, resilient and have exceptional abrasion resistance.

UltraCure is supplied in 4/litre Steel cans, Used as supplied direct from can, may require 10-15% UltraCure Solvent to assist rolling, Flow & levelling (Do not return any unused product back to can once Opened Keep sealed away from moisture at all times)

UltraCure is also available in all BS Colours on Gloss or Satin, supplies as 5/litre “A”&”B” Kit

USES:
UltraCure used on interior or exterior clear coatings, designed to overcoat Coloured or Clear Concrete, Multi-Coloured FloorCoat, Liquid Granite, All types of wood finishes, including particle board, cork tiles, Timber floors, etc. Clear films are tough, resilient and have exceptional abrasion resistance.
Used on schools, gymnasiums, shops, shopping malls, Homes, commercial and industrial buildings.

PREPARATION:
1) All particle floors, cork tiles, Timber floors - should be sanded to smooth clean finish.
2) Vacuum total areas, removing all dust, etc. before application.
3) Dilute 1st coat 30% UltraCure Solvent apply at approximately 2.5-6/m2 per litre
4) Use Mohair roller or Mohair speed Brush or Paint Brush – insure to use New clean Paint Tray

Application & Sealing:
First coat – use UltraCure Solvent dilute 30% UltraCure. - add to roller tray.
Apply 1 coat using Mohair Roller Sleeve. Allow 4-16 hours to dry.
Apply 2-3 even coats as supplied, sanding between coats only if desired. Always vacuum after sanding.
Allow 24-36 hours between coats.
(Keep original container sealed. Only add sufficient material to tray that will be used.
DO NOT allow moisture or return material to container as it could cure remaining contents.)

COVERAGE RATE:
6 m2 per litre per coat - minimum 3 coats recommended.

DRY TIMES:
Allow a minimum of 8 hours before light traffic - 36 hours for heavy traffic.

FINISH: CLEAR - Gloss only / COLOURS – Gloss or Satin

SHELF LIFE:
3-6 months unopened. After opening, limited - dependent on moisture content in atmosphere.

CLEAN UP:
UltraCure Solvent / UC500 Reducer or Brushwash

HANDLING PRECAUTIONS:
Solvent and resin fumes can be harmful and can contaminate foodstuffs.
Use in well ventilated areas
Provide and use OSHA Approved respirator at all times, use Gloves and protective clothing when applying
in confined areas.
WARNING Provide adequate ventilation at all times. Contains Isocyanates.
