Autoguard Lacquer Primer

DESCRIPTION : Lacquer Primer is manufactured with high quality, hard flexible polymers.
Designed for priming and undercoating automotive steel, aluminium for use under LACQUERCOAT
topcoat acrylic lacquer.

FEATURES :
* Excellent adhesion to clean steel/aluminium..
* Good build properties, able to build thick coatings in multiple applications
* Easy sanding

USES : All types of automotive finishes; cars, bikes, trucks, buses - containers, rubbish jumbo bins, boats, steel cabinets, furniture, customwood, etc.

APPLICATION :
By spray gun, airless spray, electrostatic spray, air mix.
Apply at approx 8 m2 / litre

Touch Dry ~10 minutes
Recoat 2+ hours
Hard Dry 6-10 hours

THINNING & CLEAN UP :
Thin between ip to 75%. Use A.P. Thinners
In hot conditions, 10% Retarder should be added.
Thin sufficiently to provide good atomisation and ability to maintain a wet edge.
Avoid spraying in direct sunlight.

SUBSTRATES : Lacquer Primer can be applied direct to clean dry steel free from rust, oil , dirt, any contamination. In situations where there might be constant exposure to corrosive conditions Such as marine environments then it is recommended to apply an anticorrosive primer such as TETRACURE P10 before the application of the LACQUER PRIMER.

WARNINGS : Always use correct Etch Sealer and Tetracure P10 Primer on metals,galvanised iron, aluminium, etc.

HEALTH & SAFETY :
Read Material Safety Data Sheet before use.
Wear protective overalls, goggles and gloves. Maintain adequate ventilation at all times.
When spraying use approved respirator with organic vapour cartridge.
Eye Contact: Flush with copious amounts of water, or dilute boric acid solution and seekimmediate medical aid.

Skin Contact: Wash thoroughly with soap and warm water.

Warning: Keep away from sparks and open flame. Smoking should not be permitted in working areas. Extremely flammable liquid - Keep out of reach of children – Avoid breathing vapours - Contains aromatic hydrocarbon solvents
