Gypseal Undercoat

DESCRIPTION: GYPSEAL a single pack water based acrylic sealer especially formulated for use by qualified tradespeople to provide an easy-to-apply, fast drying and easy sanding sealer particularly for paperfaced plasterboard such as Gibraltar Board or Elephant Board.

USES: GYPSEAL is used as a sealer primer on most surfaces but is particularly suitable for gib-board and stopping plaster.

APPLICATION: Apply a light mist of water to any areas of stopping plaster to prevent the sealer from drying too fast and to allow it to ‘wet’ the surface properly. Apply GYPSEAL by roller, Speedbrush, or spray for best results. Allow to dry for 3- 4 hours before
sanding the surface to present a smooth finish ready for top coating.

Coverage 8-10 m2 / litre
Touch Dry approx 15 minutes in normal conditions.
Full dry 2-4 hours
Recoat 3-4 hours

Do not use when temperature is below 10°C. In hot conditions and for spraying add up to 20% water to
assist with application. Avoid excessive water as this will reduce film build, increase sagging.

After dry sand with medium grit sandpaper to provide a smooth finish for top coating.
