MULTICRYL UNIQUE WATERBORNE ENAMEL

DESCRIPTION:

Multicryl is an interior/exterior Acrylic Enamel - a unique waterbased pigmented colour coat.

Multicryl exhibits excellent durability, ultra-violet light resistance and is highly recommended for exterior / interior applications - along with exceptional hardness, tensile strength, abrasion resistance - while
maintaining a balance of flexibility.

USES:
Multicryl should be used over all types of substrates where hardwearing low dirt pick up properties, along with additional durability, abrasion and scrubability resistance, are required.
Over furniture, wood, displays and reception counters, floors, walls, ceilings etc. in offices, schools, hospitals, shopping malls, building complexes, shops, hotels, apartments, food processing areas, freezing
works, meat and dairy industries, dairy companies and performs to MAF requirements.

FINISH:       Coloured pigmented Finish - Gloss, Satin or Semi Gloss,

APPLIED BY:   Roller, brush, spray, airless spray

COVERAGE:     10 m2 per litre (depending on number of coats or substrate porosity)

DILUTION:
Use as supplied (dilute 10% in extreme hot conditions to maintain wet edge - dilute 20% for spray applications)

CLEAN UP: Water

APPLICATION:

Multicryl can be applied as supplied and allowed to air dry.
Apply using mohair roller or brush. Maintaining good wet edge, laying off evenly in one direction.
Add 10% water in extremely hot climate conditions (avoid foam rollers, they tend to cause aeration problems).
Spray Application: - Mix and add 5-10% water. Apply 1 mist coat - allow 20 minutes to tack, then immediately apply second coat – Allow to dry for minium 4 hours/20°c and 60% RH before applying further coats.
Up to 4 coats may be required.
Recoating after 24 hours - will require complete sanding due to chemical resistance of Mulitcryl.

DRY TIMES:
Touch Dry - 20 minutes
Through Dry - 11⁄2 hours - 3 hours

HEALTH & SAFETY:Keep skin clean - use barrier creams on hands before use.
Multicryl - waterbased (non-hazardous)

Keep away from children and avoid contact with skin, eyes etc.
If contact occurs immediately flush with copious amounts of water.
