Multifleck Specifications

DESCRIPTION:

A unique Vinyl Polymer finish with a variety of low profile fleck combinations giving and almost infinite colour variation based on the BSS Range. Extreme durability makes this the first choice for commercial application in high and low rise buildings, hotels, motels etc.

USES:

Applied on ceilings, walls and other structures, both commercial and residential over Gib-board, fibrous plaster, concrete, blockwork, fibre cement sheeting, specifically recommended for all hard worked areas including service rooms, shower linings, ablution blocks etc.

PROPERTIES:

Good abrasion and impact resistance, excellent durability, easy to clean.

FINISH:

A low sheen - unglazed

Can be glazed to produce a satin or gloss finish.

PREPARATION:

Most substrates require sealing prior to application of the Hi Build base coat – Gib-board and plaster should have a coat of Special Finishes’ Alkyd Sealer allowed to dry thoroughly before Multifleck application. All substrates must be clean, dry and free from contaminants such as oil etc., that may impair the adhesion of the system.

PERFORMANCE:

Multifleck is a low maintenance coating system that due to its complete obliteration of the total substrate any damaged areas can be repaired and easily touched up without respraying complete areas.

PRODUCT DETAILS:

Multiclear, 2 pack water-based glaze, to give greater dirt resistance and greater durability than the natural matt finish. Can be specified in varying degrees of gloss. Water and other chemicals should not be applied to the Multifleck surface, before 7 days cure time. On areas subject to excessive abuse or hard wear, Multiclear Glaze with increased mould protection is recommended. Refer to separate data sheet.
