Solvent Primers & Sealer

DESCRIPTION: Solvent Sealer is a low viscosity solvent base clear acrylic sealer used for sealing fibrecement board, concrete, cement plasters etc.

USES: Solvent Sealer is ideal as a sealer coat on fibrecement board including the jointing prior to application of the jointing compound and cement plasters such as Strongwall. It is suitable as sealer for concrete, cement plaster and fibrecement board prior to application of paint based textures such as Texturecoat and Shieldtex High Build. It is also suitable as a dust sealer for concrete floors.

APPLICATION:
Apply one coat of Solvent Sealer at a coverage rate of 4-6m2/litre to all surfaces prior to application of
jointing compound, plasters or texture.
For dust sealing of concrete apply a further coat at 4-6 m2/litre.
Apply by brush, roller or spray. No thinning is necessary.
Allow to dry minimum of two hours before overcoating.

CAUTION: Product contains flammable liquid. Keep away from sparks and open flames. Do not smoke during use. Keep out of reach of children. Avoid breathing vapours. Contains aromatic hydrocarbon solvents. Do not apply in confined spaces without appropriate breathing apparatus. Wear gloves, goggles and protective clothing during use. Excessive skin contact may cause dermatitis.
