TETRACURE P10 TETRA ZINC ETCH PRIMER

DESCRIPTION: Tetracure P10 is a single pack Acid Catalysed Vinyl Butyral System, reinforced with Phenolic binders with high loadings of Tetroxi Zinc Chromate Pigment - providing exceptional corrosion and adhesion properties; incorporating fast dry with excellent chemical and abrasion resistance. Unique performance for metal pre- treatment and primers for outstanding long term protection.

FEATURES:
* Use direct from can - single pot application (no mixing A & B, add Tetrasolve before use)

* Excellent adhesion to aluminium, steel, galvanised iron, concrete, etc.
* Tetracure P10 etches and fuses onto the substrate surface for outstanding adhesion
* Unique coating for metal, galvanised iron, aluminium, also suitable for concrete floors

TYPICAL USES: Automotive, buses, steel, cars, boats, concrete floors, RSJ's, aluminium, Formica, galvanised iron - roofing, pulp and paper mills, tank lining to contain mineral oils and vegetable oils, oil refineries, power plants, petrochemical plants, hydro electric installations, gas plants, fertiliser plants, Dairy Companies, Freezing Works, structural steel, steel pipes, etc.

PHYSICAL PROPERTIES:
Vehicle Type: - Vinyl Butyral / Phenolic Binder
Pigmentation: - Tetroxi Zinc Chromate

APPLICATION: Roller, brush, conventional or airless spray - electrostatic spray

THINNING: Tetrasolve Reducer. Dilute 20-30% for brushing or rolling

Dilute 60-100% for spraying, adjust to suit spray equipment

CLEAN UP: Use Tetrasolve Reducer

COVERAGE: 8 m2 per litre @ 120 microns W.F.B.

DRY FILM THICKNESS: 62.5 microns per coat

DRY TIME: Touch - 15 minutes, Hard - 4 hours

RECOAT: 1-4 hours, depending on ambient temperature

SAFETY & HEALTH: Wear protective overalls, goggles and gloves. Maintain adequate ventilation at all times. When spraying use approved respirator with organic vapour cartridge.
Eye Contact: Flush with copious amounts of water, or dilute boric acid solution and seek Immediate medical aid.

Skin Contact: Wash thoroughly with soap and warm water.

Warning: Keep away from sparks and open flame. Smoking should not be permitted in Working areas.
