ULTRAPRIME Primer

Description : Marine Primer is a two pack polyamide cured primer designed as an undercoat / primer for two pack topcoats.

Features :
 Excellent adhesion to timber, grp, concrete, fibrecement, aluminium
 Good flow and wetting properties
 Good water resistance
 Cures at temperatures down to 10°c
 Tolerant of damp substrates
 Good sanding properties
 Long pot life

Application :
Mix 4 Parts A } by Volume
with 1 Part B }

Apply by roller, brush, conventional spray or airless spray.
Thin up to 10% if necessary with Ultraprime Solvent. For airless spray use a minimum 0.018” tip and 2000 psi (15mPa) nozzle pressure. Use Ultraprime Solvent for clean-up. Apply at spreading rate of approximately 12m2/l to give a dry film thickness of 55 microns. At 20°c minimum recoat time is 16 hours (maximum recoat time is unlimited). Pot Life - 8 hours at 20°c. Top Coating Ensure Marine primer is thoroughly sanded and all sanding dust is removed. DO NOT apply more than 75 micron dry film thickness of topcoat, otherwise adhesion could be affected.

CAUTION : Flammable. Avoid contact with skin. Provide adequate ventilation in confined areas.
Wear protective clothing including face protection. Use suitable respirator. Keep away from children.
